Above & Beyond to celebrate 450th radio show in India

Above & Beyond will celebrate their 450th TATW radio show with a landmark event in India on 10 November 2012, teaming up with Submerge, India’s leading dance music promoter. TATW450 will take the form of a marathon 8-hour broadcast with a host of Anjunabeats’ most cutting-edge acts playing alongside Jono, Tony and Paavo.

Having named their legendary Anjunabeats label after a beach in Goa, Above & Beyond’s connection with India is deep and long-standing. With the country’s club scene growing rapidly and a huge thirst for electronic music in the region, Indiawas the perfect destination for this prestigious show.

“India, its people and music have always had a special place in our hearts,” said A&B’s Paavo Siljamaki. “Not only does the dance music culture span thousands of years there, we’ve witnessed incredible growth of the electronic music there since we first started Anjunabeats. TATW450 will be broadcast from the country that was the starting point for everything we do. The show also represents the first full Group Therapy production in India, following Above & Beyond’s memorable set atSunburn Festival last December. Over the past 18 months, Above & Beyond have toured their Group Therapy themed show across the globe – an epic, no expense spared production with immersive visuals, live messaging from the band and support from Anjunabeats’ finest acts.

Featuring a marathon eight-hour radio broadcast with live participation from those listening in, TATW450 in India will take the Group Therapy experience to its global limits – with fans all over the world connecting and sharing their experiences in real time.
