Connected Events, Aqua Audio, Urban Metropolis Entertainment, Flipside Events and Substenence proudly present Northern Lights Music Festival. With globally revered headliners and supporting acts, exceptional light and effects productions, and a stage display that rivals Europe’s leading EDM (Electronic Dance Music) festivals, the Shaw Conference Centre (9797 Jasper Avenue) will be packed with enough energy to set the sky aflame. From select co-producers of the Elements Music Festival, which was nominated for Best Music Event at the International Dance Music Awards alongside California’sCochella and Belgium’s Tomorrowland, Northern Lights picks up where Elements left off in establishing Western Canada as a hub for prominent electronic events. The festival is expected to bring in thousands of out-of-town patrons, generating an abundance of activity for the hotels and restaurants of Edmonton’s downtown core.

Included in the 2013 lineup are Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Flux Pavillion, Nicky Romero, Krewella, R3hab, Felix Cartal, Autoerotique, Bro Safari, Lucky Date, Nari & Milani, Alex Metric and gLAdiator. Please see attached artist bios for more information.

Official Northern Lights Kick Off Parties start at 9pm on March 28, and feature Prok & Fitch and MYNC at Set Nightclub (#1595, 8882 170 Street); as well as Alvin Risk andLoudpvck at Encore (#2687, 8882 170 Street). Admission to these events are freebefore 11pm and with a festival wristband; cover is otherwise $15. Official After Parties will be held at Y Afterhours at 1am. Admission is $20, and priority entrance will be given to those with a festival wristband.

Northern Lights Music Festival takes place March 29 & 30 at the Shaw Conference Centre (9797 Jasper Avenue). Early Bird and Tier 1 tickets have sold out; remaining ticket prices range from $129-$179 and can be purchased online, as well as through various vendors throughout Edmonton and Calgary.
