ASOT 550 Report (Den Bosch)

As I’m writing this article I just realize that this may be the most important one of this year, it maybe only be April but I can say that ASOT 550 Den Bosch is the biggest indoor event that we would see this year. With the final event twicely marked we packed our bags and headed off to Den Bosch for the 6 and – not yet final – final event of ASOT. The real finally will be this summer in the party beach of Europe. Ibiza.

From 20:00 PM the doors opened for a one-hour warm-up session with the host of this epic celebration itself, Armin van Buuren. Right after the session the doors opened even further for the rest of the crowd to join the main event, with 5 stages including the well-discussed “State of Pink” featuring only female artist’s. After 2 hours most visitors found their way into the Brabant Hallen in Den Bosch.

At “A State of Pink” were not only DJ’s on stage. Between the sets of DJ’s like Miss Nine, Claudia Casacu and Lisa Lashes it was up to the vocalists. Jwayden, Betsie Larkin , Ana Criado, Emma Hewitt, Jaren and Aruna all had 15 minutes  to perform a few of their songs live on stage.

Also for the fan who could not wait, Free Record Shop had a small booth selling only two albums. The already released “A State of Trance 2012” and the “A State of Trance 550” a 5 CD counting album featuring mixes from: Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin, John O’Callaghan, Arty and Ørjan Nilsen.

During the night there was a good atmosphere. Everyone was in a great mood, and friendly to each other. The audience behaved great, and there were therefore no disturbance.

If the party in Den Bosch will be beaten by Ibiza we will see, but we can say that this event and the whole tour was a huge success.
